Holy Ascension Parish is...
a group of Eastern Rite Catholics including individuals and families of many different
ethnic backgrounds, who recognize the beauty of
the Byzantine Tradition and choose the Byzantine Rite
to offer worship and praise to God.

Membership Parish membership is primarily based on a sincere desire to
follow Jesus Christ and a commitment to live according to His teachings.
It is further based on a real willingness to actively work to support and build
this Christian community. All are called to share their Time, Talent,
and Treasure in order to make God's kingdom come alive in the continued
growth of our new parish. We invite you to join us. enriched by ethnic and liturgical traditions that
help us integrate
our faith into our everyday lives.
We encourage members to follow
traditional
religious practices and to find concrete ways to
come
to a deep experience of the truth that our "God is with us".
Our current membership includes people from various backgrounds and
parishes. Some were baptized as Ukrainian and Ruthenian Catholics.
Others were baptized in Orthodox or Roman Catholic churches. We find
support in our communal prayer which is conducted in English and is in accord
with the Byzantine Rite as it found expression in Ukraine. Our doctrine is
Catholic, and we are in union with the See of Rome.

programs and activities that will draw others to our fellowship, such as Religious Education Programs, personal development for adults, and support groups for people with various needs. - Joining...
other persons of good will in working to build a society that is humane, unbiased, just and caring. A society that truly respects and promotes the dignity of all human beings.
Our vision is to provide a place of worship that will give testimony to our unique Christian heritage. We will accomplish this by building a church that adheres to the traditions of the Eastern Catholic Church as it is founded in the Slavic lands.
Our vision is to provide members and visitors with a mystical experience of an encounter with our creator and Savior God. We will accomplish this by faithfully adhering to the prayer ritual of the Byzantine Tradition used by Ukrainians and other Slavic peoples.
Our vision is to become a religious center where all people can find welcome, peace and spiritual fulfillment. We will accomplish this by being deeply committed to the Gospel of Christ and maintaining a welcoming spirit within our community.
